As you may have learned, the LintAlert requires a clean (or like-new) dryer vent system for optimal calibration and installation.
In fact, the LintAlert may not calibrate if the dryer vent still has some blockage in the duct work which is indicated as an error code on the LEDs. Many vent cleaning professionals who stock the LintAlert on their service trucks offer it along with a thorough dryer vent cleaning. Some HVAC wholesale companies sell the LintAlert off their shelves for local pickup as well.
